I would have wanted to read  Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I wanted to read it because it looked kind of scary or weird. It looked like a book I would want to read. The book I got stuck with was Chain Reaction. To my surprise it is way better then I thought it would be. My second choice would have been Before I Die. They both seemed like really good books.

If Tom Robinson had stayed in prison and did not try to escape and Atticus made the appeal then Tom Robinson probably would of had a chance of getting out of jail. Atticus would have done all he could and was doing all he could to not let Tom go to prison. A lot of people, I think, thought Tom was innocent because they did not have enough evidence to prove. Of course the jury thought there was enough because they convicted him. So I think if Atticus got the appeal then they would have let Tom out or at least shortened his sentence.

If Tom was shot in the court instead of being shot trying to escape prison I think people would be more on Tom's side. If Bob Ewell had shot Tom Robinson then I think people would have been more on Tom's side because some people were a little suspicious of his story. If Tom had been shot and lived then I don't think he would have went to jail because he would have got sympathy of more people.

If Tom Robinson didn't try to escape prison he probably would still be alive and maybe even out of jail. I believe that Atticus could have gotten him a shorter sentence. If Tom had just stayed in jail then Atticus would be an even bigger hero because he would have got him out of jail.

Well a lot of people want what they can't have. So if your parent say you can't see them that usually makes you see them more. There are people who I think are total opposites and are together. There are groups in are school where they date each other and the other groups date each other but when one of them changes it's different.
I am not that far into the book. I just got to the part where, they are seniors, and she sees him for the first since the wedding. At the wedding, Nikki was upset from her break-up with Marco that when Luis tries to talk to her she doesn't say anything back. When Nikki's parents made her dance with Luis she kneed him and ran away. Her parents made her apologize, which she didn't, instead she hid his clothes on the beach so he had to be naked. So far their relationship isn't too good. So far I like it way more than I thought I would; the love story and all.
Where you live and grow up can really effect who you grow to be. If you grow up living in a bad neighborhood surrounded by gangs like these people in the book you have a good chance of being in a gang too. Of course, you get to decide what you do when you grow up but where you live and who you are with can really effect what you do. If Luis grew up in a nice neighborhood, where there were no gangs then he would probably never be in one.

1. To Bob Ewell- How often do you drink? I asked this question because if he drinks everyday he might not remember if he beats his children.

2. To Bob Ewell- Have you beat your children before? I asked this question just to see if it fine with him to beat his children.

3. To Bob Ewell- Have you beat Mayella before? I asked this question because if he has beat her before he can do it again.

4. To Bob Ewell- Have you ever seen Tom Robinson before?

5. To Mayella Ewell- How did you know Tom Robinson's name? I asked this question because she said that people walked by their house all the time but she didn't know any of them.

6. To Tom Robinson- Do you walk by the Ewell's everyday? I asked this question to see if he even lives by them.

7. To Tom Robinson- Did Mayella ask for help? I asked this question to see if he had helped her.

8. To Tom Robinson- Did you go inside the Ewell's house?

9. To Bob Ewell- You said you stood their and looked inside the window, why not just run into the house? I asked this question to see if he can hold up his story.

10. To Tom Robinson- Have you help Mayella before?

What I think constitutes as being courageous or brave is being able to do things that you aren't very comfortable doing, like for example Jem reading to Mrs. Dubose. Being brave and courageous doesn't mean you have to be able to shoot a gun, you do something that you don't want to do but do it any way because it's right. People do things all the time to save another persons life or just to be nice. Like standing up for some one getting bullied that is brave and courageous. It can be something simply of something very hard but if you do because it's right then you are brave and courageous.

I think the most courageous person in the book is Jem. Jem has been through a lot but still protects his sister and helps his father when he can. Who I think is brave and courageous is people I know that have cancer. I admire them because you have to be brave and have courage that you will be okay. Some people take the easy way out and end while others fight because they are brave. Those are the people I look up to and admire.
