I would have wanted to read Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I wanted to read it because it looked kind of scary or weird. It looked like a book I would want to read. The book I got stuck with was Chain Reaction. To my surprise it is way better then I thought it would be. My second choice would have been Before I Die. They both seemed like really good books.
If Tom Robinson had stayed in prison and did not try to escape and Atticus made the appeal then Tom Robinson probably would of had a chance of getting out of jail. Atticus would have done all he could and was doing all he could to not let Tom go to prison. A lot of people, I think, thought Tom was innocent because they did not have enough evidence to prove. Of course the jury thought there was enough because they convicted him. So I think if Atticus got the appeal then they would have let Tom out or at least shortened his sentence.
If Tom was shot in the court instead of being shot trying to escape prison I think people would be more on Tom's side. If Bob Ewell had shot Tom Robinson then I think people would have been more on Tom's side because some people were a little suspicious of his story. If Tom had been shot and lived then I don't think he would have went to jail because he would have got sympathy of more people.
If Tom Robinson didn't try to escape prison he probably would still be alive and maybe even out of jail. I believe that Atticus could have gotten him a shorter sentence. If Tom had just stayed in jail then Atticus would be an even bigger hero because he would have got him out of jail.

Well a lot of people want what they can't have. So if your parent say you can't see them that usually makes you see them more. There are people who I think are total opposites and are together. There are groups in are school where they date each other and the other groups date each other but when one of them changes it's different.
I am not that far into the book. I just got to the part where, they are seniors, and she sees him for the first since the wedding. At the wedding, Nikki was upset from her break-up with Marco that when Luis tries to talk to her she doesn't say anything back. When Nikki's parents made her dance with Luis she kneed him and ran away. Her parents made her apologize, which she didn't, instead she hid his clothes on the beach so he had to be naked. So far their relationship isn't too good. So far I like it way more than I thought I would; the love story and all.
Where you live and grow up can really effect who you grow to be. If you grow up living in a bad neighborhood surrounded by gangs like these people in the book you have a good chance of being in a gang too. Of course, you get to decide what you do when you grow up but where you live and who you are with can really effect what you do. If Luis grew up in a nice neighborhood, where there were no gangs then he would probably never be in one.
