I think I can relate to the gender role stereotyping. Just because I am a girl I can't do certain things. So I could have a dream that I want to play football in the NFL, well since I am a girl my dream won't come true. I kind of relate to the psychological strain not because I have unrealized dreams but that I am scared I will not achieve them. There is still a lot of gender role stereotyping now but more in the 50s. Like Benetha wants to be a doctor and everyone thinks she can't because that is a male job. I relate with her the most because a lot of girls wanted to be something like that now and then but can't.
